Actually, SFF is very different from T13.  SFF is designed to allow quick
publication of documents, not documents that are thoroughly reviewed to the
same standard as T13 standards (which is why the latter are standards).
Specifically, I don't think SFF has (or had) a formal public comment period
like T13 has as part of the standards review.

Even after first approval of a standard, if someone sends a letter with
comments to the T13 chairman then that letter will be addressed by the
committee (as usual, no guarantee they will agree).  Indeed, some members of
the committee use this mechanism for most of their detailed feedback on the
standard (preferring to wait until after the "dust clears" with the first
approval).
