Hi,
I’m trying to blacklist the module ath5k from loading at boot but I am
having no success with the following
/etc/conf/blacklist
/etc/modprobe.conf
/etc/modules.conf
/etc/conf/pci
I have tried these files using the rockplug & hwscan configuration.
How can I disable the ath5k module from loading as it does not support
AP mode and need to use the madwifi module I have added in.
Sorry, rockplug and hwscan should be removed from trunk.
the modprobe.conf blacklist works, however, you need to repack the
initrd for the file being updated in the initrd and being present on
early boot:
mkinitrd # you can specify a kernel version if you run a different one
