I'm pretty sure I'm seeing a regression from upstream. I lurk on the
xorg development mailer, and I know the developers aren't that
concerned with maintaining Kdrive (XDM is also unmaintained--yikes!).
I'll take a stab at getting a patch together to make Kdrive work. If
anyone has a quick fix to make the rescue kernel boot so I have an
environment to test X in, that would be great.
Probably the xorg-server 1.5 broke it, as I just build the rescue target
some weeks ago and fixed everything to just work.
