Howdy,

Since I can't build TinyX from Xorg 7.4, I've retrieved the 7.3
configuration from an old copy of SVN to play with, and have managed
to graft it onto a recent revision from Trunk. I am actually able to
build an image from this.

However, when I run "startx", it first makes me create /dev/tty0 and
/dev/tty7. After those are created, it complains that /dev/fb0 does
not exist. After I create that device node, it tells me that the
device itself does not exist.

I'm assuming there's some simple kernel tweaks that I need to make.
However, I really don't understand how I go about reconfiguring the
kernel when creating a T2 image.

Can I unpack the kernel sources into a temporary directory, run make
clean && make menuconfig, then copy the output to some place that
Build-Target can see it? I can't find anything in the T2 manual on
kernel configuration. :-(

While I'm at it, is there anyone with a background in Xorg and/or
TinyX that wants to help me? :-) (I know that Rene has more than
enough to do as it is.)
