I'm doing another build of the Rescue target right now to compare against my target. I've copied the pkg_xorg-server.conf and pkg_xorg-server.patch from the rescue target, but I suspect that there are some relevant details hiding in some other file in that target. Also, FWIW, the rescue target's pkg_xorg-server.patch is completely broken when applied to Xorg 7.4. As I mentioned in my other email, I'm using target-specific packages to build against Xorg 7.3 as a temporary measure. The developers have made it clear on the Xorg mailing list that Kdrive/TinyX are not being actively maintained, so I don't know if building Xvesa from Xorg 7.4 is even a reasonable goal. :-( If anyone is interested, I can provide a tarball of my Xorg 7.3 packages. -- William Tracy [email protected] -- [email protected] Vice President, Cal Poly Linux Users' Group http://www.cplug.org "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it." -- Evelyn Beatrice Hall, frequently mis-attributed to Voltaire
