Looks to be a timing issue that the /dev/sr0 device node is not appearing quickly enough for the installer script to pick it up. Maybe only issue on very fast hosts, or the Mac Fusion edition (maybe the Windows version has subtile differences, in features or timing; I use the Mac Fusion edition for testing, …).
