Rene,
I have tested build of gparted 0.20.0, ok. The version currently in T2
is very old.

gparted needs these gtkmm packages:
glibmm, cairomm, gtkmm, pangomm, libgnomecanvasmm

They are old versions in T2, but that is OK. Except, I updated glibmm
to version 2.34.1:

#[V] 2.24.2
[V] 2.34.1
[P] X -----5---9 139.900

[O] . $base/package/*/*/gnome2-conf.in

#[D] 2587908014 glibmm-2.24.2.tar.bz2
http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/sources/glibmm/2.24/
[D] 0 glibmm-2.34.1.tar.bz2 http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/sources/glibmm/2.34/

Note, I compiled all of those "mm" packages with "--enable-static
--disable-shared", as gparted is the only app in my build that uses
the gtkmm packages.
They are bloatware, but linking them statically with gparted lessens
the pain a bit.
But, that is a local target configure choice.

Here is my updated gparted.desc:

#[V] 0.6.2
[V] 0.20.0
[P] X -----5---9 801.000

[O] . $base/package/*/*/gnome2-conf.in

#[D] 1155289747 gparted-0.6.2.tar.bz2
http://dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/gparted/
[D] 0 gparted-0.20.0.tar.bz2
http://sourceforge.net/projects/gparted/files/gparted/gparted-0.20.0/

You probably don't want to do this in T2, but I also created a
gparted.conf with this in it:

var_append confopt ' ' '--disable-doc --disable-scrollkeeper'

...I did that a year ago in my local T2, don't recall why, perhaps
there was a problem with the defaults for those options.

Probably if you did want to put a gparted.conf into T2, have a test if
'scrollkeeper' package installed.

Regards,
Barry
