I did T2 on ARM a very looooooooong time ago:

(just an example do not try to use this old stuff ;-)

So yes, T2 run on ARM, however, problem is all the zillion ARMs are not as
compatible as IBM PCs. So you more or less need an own set of kernel and
drivers for each ARM device.
Plus: unlocking the boot loader to load your own system may be blocked by the
vendor. Some more, some less.
So all in all it may be quite an effort to get (T2) Linux onto this tablet. And
then usability may be limited by the touch and virtual keyboard interaction.
But please, I do not ant to stop you: go ahead, looking forward to patches ,-)
(I advice to research before any purchase if the boot loader is unlocked or
unlock able, ...)
