Since the linux kernel is now at 4.3, shouldn't the linux-header package
be running the same, it's still showing 3.14? rather than
http://ftp.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v4.x/linux-4.3.tar.xz.
aufs is now tied to the kernel version so the matching aufs4 is at
https://github.com/sfjro/aufs4-standalone/tree/aufs4.3 as
git://github.com/sfjro/aufs4-standalone/tree/aufs4.3/aufs4-standalone.git (BTW
the master branch is now just a readme and not for downloading.)
although aufs-util hasn't been updated and is still the same as it was.
aufs3 still exists as linux 3.18 and is a longterm kernel required by
a number of other projects, such as android, who I understand intends to
keep with linux kernel 3.xx for a while yet. ?So does T2 need a new
package matrix for aufs4? And is there also a need to add a new linux
package matrix for linux kernel 4.x.x and keep linux 3.18 for those
needing it?

and just to finish up lilo's maintainer has announced that he is
finishing up in December 2015 and is looking for someone to take it
over, also the latest versions of lilo (24.2) can now handle gpt and
raid for those wondering how far it's got to.
