Thanks chris for the link.
With a little investigation it seems that the function is now in
xorg-server as you show instead of separate, on the other hand there is
a new dependancy or two to deal with, oh well! such is the programming
world.
However your archlinux referance is interesting to the point of having a
look at the packages of a few other problems i've come accross and added
on my unsolved list and it seems i have a few things to sort out.
And just at the time I must cutback my T2 time and finish a few
Leadlighting projects due by mid May, oh well, work must prevail. I
won't dissapear entirely (there is always night-time but things may be
quiet for a week or three until I can ramp up again.
regards and thanks to all

about /2
to me it seems xorg-server 1.19.3-2 and up already include glamor-egl,
see:
https://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/i686/xorg-server/
especially:
Replaces: glamor-egl
Conflicts: glamor-egl
would also explain the shared files error i guess

OK, Working with 10-minimal-xorg.in
1/ Some changes to 10-minimal-xorg.in (many problems found, as
expected, with it straight), it's attached to look and comment ONLY,
NOT FOR RELEASE TO USE AT THIS POINT PLEASE, it's only a work in
progress. Problems especially in, related too, and with the current
LLVM, must we have it in Rene?
2/ Find attached 5-glamor-egl.log, can anyone please identify the
problem and sugest a solution as it's needed for OpenGL based 2D
rendering. It doesn't make sense to me and i'm stopped until this is
cured, as it seems to have built ok. It's found
in /package/xorg/glamor-egl.
And things were going so well too as i've fixed a few missing
packages and a few package build-points have changed!
thanks
