Honestly not that much, because I have already spend too much money on
esoteric hardware that does not boost my day-to-day productivity.

There is an ebay auction of an Octane with Shoehorn, but I’m not
spending 300 to 500 $ or what that was on that. Maybe more like 50.
But again, is not really that important for myself.

I spend a whole month working all my spare time on re-basing my 3.x
patchset to 4.x. When I had most stuff mostly working again I accidentally
discovered the Gentoo patches in some cached archive on some extern
ftp or so mirror. They were quite good and close to what I had already.
I mostly fixed some PCI bridge endianess swapping on top of that so that
audio worked, maybe another things here or there, you can simply just diff
them anyway. I also already spend over two weeks on Impact cursor
and video mode reverse engineering.

I was not aware that the Gentoo folks updated it again, and I just took
a look and their patches are so much harder to extract for review than
our very publicly sorted and published #t2sde exposure.
