I needed to lash the cloth and warp beams (i.e.. dowels) to the frame to keep the tension. I'm a little reluctant to use a half hitch to secure the warp as I would like to keep the warp spread out on the dowel. Anyway, I plan on taking it to the library over lunch and try some weaving.
