Sponsored by TWIST - Tablet Weavers International Studies & Techniques

I agree that no one can have too many boards, C-clamps, and cards...and
for persons with
small hands may I recommend the following:

At Wal-Mart, or the equivelant, buy the medium weight plastic "No
tresspassing/for sale"
signs and a single hole punch. This weight can be cut with a quilters
cutting wheel and/or
scissors. I make 2.5 inch cards, rounding the corners, making a
template and punching holes,
or just eye-balling it. Started out using handmade cards from playing
cards, and this is a
step up. Also, use a splash of different colored nail polish at the
corners for i.d.

For those of you in the Midwest.... MidWest weaver's conference will be
held at the
Edwardsville campus of Southern IL Univ, sponsored by the St. Louis
Guild...on
June 14-16, with a pre-conference. . Both Linda Hendrickson and
Marilyn Holtzer will
have TW classes, and an informal session is planned for Friday evening
dinner hour.
Hope to see old friends there. Webside is
http://home.fuse.net/weavers/ although
I think there is also access thru Southern ILL's edu web page. Just
can't put my fingers
on that, right now.

We started a TW group approximately 3 yrs. ago through interested people
at the Champaign-
Urbana Guild, now covering the area from Rockville, IN to Springfield,
IL north and south, so some
people are driving 3 +/- hours. We've outgrown home meetings, but
because of that, now only
meet twice a year with a planned project. We have about 25 names on the
list with attendance
at 12-15, and constant conversations when we meet. Such fun!

Too many fingers in too many pies, and none of them edible. How well!
