Sponsored by TWIST - Tablet Weavers International Studies & Techniques

Greetings from Montana - USA - myself and my best friend are just getting
into all this tablet/card weaving. It is simply fascinating. I would
like to know the pros and cons of using a loom or just the sling method from
a wall hook.

As for punching, we found a 3/8 " leather punch and is very very sharp. It
is time consuming and it is noisy and had my dogs barking non-stop until I
was done with 12 cards. We used matt board and they turned out beautiful.
3 1/2 inches on all sides. I also cut one card out of stiff leather,
punched it and liked how it felt. The leather would work better and be a
tad more sturdy if it were slightly smaller. Is that doable?

Glad to be here - too soon to contribute too much as I now so little. If
looms work for the cards does anyone have simple plans they could send?
Thanks before hand.

P.S. Is there really a paper drill bit?
