<< Now are these patterns from medieval bands, or are you drafting patterns
based on illuminations and other sources?

The patterns are being drafted from illuminations, sword hilts, Byzantine
fabrics, stone carvings, etc.; anything that can be graphed, anything that
is graphically pleasing, anything that I personally find neat! It will have
wyverns and birds and border patterns and overall patterns and elephants and
flowers and and and! It's grand fun to see growing, with over 300 patterns
to date. The patterns can be used by tablet weavers (both brocade and
individual-turning), cross stitch, knitting, needlepoint, patchwork, mosaic,
beading, tapestry, and any other craft you can think of that can use graphs.

<< By the way, I did like your inclusion of patterns in your last book. Now
my
wife wants to try some. >>

Thank you. I really wanted to make sure that both aspects of the subject --
historical and practical -- were included in the same book.
