Sometimes if I try to "retro-weave" to fix an error, I make a much bigger
mess that is very difficult (sometimes impossible) to sort out. If it's only
a pick or two back, I'll attempt it, but much farther back and I just shrug
and say "Nobody is perfect!" If it's really bad, it might be far easier in
the long run to start all over again rather than try to fix a mistake.
Obviously I try to pay attention to every pick!

Johanna, unless it's a situation like Michael described where a thread is
just shouldering another aside and you can wiggle it back into place, I
can't imagine any easy or even not-so-easy way to fix structural errors
after the piece is complete. How about embroidery? Fabric paint? Sewn-on
embellishments?

Hugs,
Louisa (who's last missed-hole project ended up snipped off in disgust!)
