Question for the group - is it possible to correct
errors in double face double turn weaving after the
weaving is complete?

A couple of years ago I entered a band in the county
fair and the judge wrote on my score card that I
'should correct errors either during or after the band
was woven'. Is it possible?

I'm weaving a band now and I noticed a bit too late
that I have a discontinuity in one of the lines in the
figure - there's one bit of the line 'missing'.

The other error I'm prone to is not beating
consistently and ending up with random shots
'wider/longer' then their neighbors.

Is there any correction for either problem other than
immediately going back, unweaving the error, and
reweaving the section?

(Which I'm not going to do with the current band - a
finished band in the hand is more important to me at
the moment than a 'perfect' band in my imagination.)

Curiously,

Johanna
