Sponsored by TWIST - Tablet Weavers International Studies & Techniques
Hi there everyone, I usually just lurk, but thought that I might add my wish list for the tabletweaving program. I would like to use it to create new patterns and to have it support brocading, pebble weave and double-faced weaving as well as threaded in patterns. Mostly I have worked in threaded in patterns although I have been exploring double-faced recently. It would be great if it offered a pattern archive. I'm pretty much a novice user and usually have to spend quite a bit of time figuring out programs new to me. I usually use the tutorials offered. I also weave with the woven web in front of me and beat by pulling the weft toward me as in most conventional looms. Hope this helps a bit. I really enjoy this list and I thank all of you who make it possible. Some of the comments really make me laugh, like the one about windows crashing before you can save your work (like most of you - a personal experience).
