Assuming you're talking about historical rather than the modern revival of
the last century or two.... ;> I haven't seen any historical evidence for
Scandinavian or Anglo-Saxon runes being tablet woven (or tapestry woven, or
embroidered, or represented in any textile form for that matter). However,
there's at least one circa 8th century Byzantine Greek inscription band; it
wound up buried at Moscevaja Balka near the Black Sea. And there are some
14th century ones in Tblisi that are inscribed in one of the historical
Georgian alphabets.
