Hi Guido I have done a lot of experiments with combining loom weaving and tablet weaving. There isn't "thumb form" it takes a lot of sampling with different yarns, weaves and setts to get the right combinations and tension between the two elements so one is not at a higher tension that the other. There was an article of mine regarding this type of weaving in the last TWIST newsletter. I will have a shawl with the combination of tablet weaving and loom weaving in the "Phosphorescence" show at Convergence in Vancouver.
