My first piece for a regional A&S was from Paternyan yarn. It was
three-strand and I separated out the strands. There was a lot of fuzzing,
but it wasn't too much to keep under control. Now if you make a mistake
with it, it's a devil to undo - but otherwise not too bad. It was
definitely a learning experience - I think something more tightly spun would
probably work much better.

As for patterns, I think that the ram's horn and also Guntram's Blue
Eternity are really fun. The Blue Eternity pattern comes in several
different widths so if you want to use more cards you can.

persian yarn, is that yarn tightly spun enough to use for card weaving
or/and strong enough to take the tension & twist?
