Sponsored by TWIST - Tablet Weavers International Studies & Techniques
Hi all, after a long time (sorry!!!), I had the time to collect all your proposals for questions that should be included in a kind of tablet weaving FAQ. I put the first draft (only the collected questions with some additions of mine) to the website http://www.steinmaus.de/Mittelalter/weben/faq_draft.html I propose we should now do the next steps: - Please send my any errors you find. - Please send my any comments on the structur, questions that should not be included, addtitions that should be included. - Please let me know if you want to write (short) answers to one of the questions. After doing corrections and additions I plan to add the name of persons willing to write the answer to one of those questions after the questions and will publish a new draft in about two weeks. If there is more than one person willing to answer a question I will add all persons and they should coordinate their work. Of course the author will be published with his answer-text if he/she wants to. Then I am going to collect the answers and publish them in an appropriate HTML document as a last draft before putting it (hopefully - Janis?) to the Weavershand website. Hope you all will support this work on the FAQ as I think it is a good project and will help any newbies joining one of the tablet weaving groups. Greetings from rainy and stormy Germany Guido P.S.: I got my TWIST issue today and again have to say that Janis did wonderful work. Thank you again for doing this!
