Hi, first let me thank a lot for the wonderful reactions on my band. > I infer from the text that this weaving was inspired by the > photograph on the cover of the Robin and Russ version of > Collingwood's book, and was woven with each tablet threaded with > three yellow and one red thread. > That's absolutely correct. > You wove more designs than I see in the book cover, so I assume that > you created the new ones. I'm also assuming that the tablets were in > groups of three or four, where the groups alternated between "S" and > "Z" threading and the tablets all turned the same direction (or the > tablets were all threaded the same way, but turned in both directions > by groups). Just for everyone's information: All tablets are theaded the same direction and turned in groups 4 tablets wide each, 4 turns in one direction (only in one pattern there is one exception from that rule where 2 tablets are turned for 2 times). I am planning to write a short instructional website on all the patterns I weaved and will also prepare GTT-files for downloading all the patterns. I propose I should also do an Englishc translation for that website as well? *g* Guido Send private reply to Guido Gehlhaar <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop receiving tabletweaving (not tabletweaving-digest), send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: unsubscribe tabletweaving.
