I sketched out the rabbit using only diagonal and warpwise straight lines,
then turned it into a turning draft. The outline was strongly informed
by the picture in the book, but it was not a direct, mechanical transfer.

I'll be fleshing out my "how I draft patterns" spiel as I go along.
