I have in front of me Linda's new book, "Please Weave a Mesage: Instructions and Graphs for Tablet-Woven Calligraphy", and can tell you that it is yummy!
This is a book for weaving double-face lettering and words. In addition to all the usual introductory how-to information that you find in Linda's books, she has graphed alphabets and sayings in both modern and historic lettering. These include Italic, Legend, 14th-century Textura Quadrata, Uncial, and 15th-century Humanist Bookhand. A tutorial for using Excel to graph letters, as well as blank graphs for making your own words, is provided.
