Yes, I'd like smooth edges, none of this weft bump stuff I'm getting.

In a workshop earlier this year, I noticed one person pulled her weft a bit hard, then pulled the edge of the band back out (and her edges were very nice).

My latest band's border cards were threaded S V on the left side (cards 1 and 2 respectively) and the right edge, reading out was S V. The left edge was nicer, consistently, with less effort, it seemed.

Ok, I'm right handed, but is it that, or does the S card produce a nicer edge more easily?

Tips for getting better edges gratefully accepted.
