Inge Dam has done a lot of beautiful work combining loom weaving and tablet weaving. She will be teaching a workshop on this subject at CNCH, the Conference of Northern California Handweavers, April 30-May 4. She will also be teaching a workshop on tablet-woven brocade, and three seminars. Details at http://www.cnch.org/pages/conferences/galleries.html

Martha Stanley wrote an article about using tablet-woven borders for rugs... but I don't remember where that was published. Probably Handwoven or SS&D.

We have a small wool rug in the bathroom that combines loom and tablet weaving -- my husband wove the main part of the rug on the loom in krokbragd, and then after cutting it off the loom, I used the warps as weft for a tablet-woven border on each end of the rug.

Take care,
Linda
