All right, so I'm thinking about all the ways one might go about
>weaving a big fairly plain square of fabric with tablet woven edges.
>There must be a way to weave the thick, sturdy, pretty bottom part,
>turn it into two-hole or plain weave for the body of the fabric,
>then rethread at the far end for more pretty border. The borders at
>either side stay in four-hole tablet weave all along the length of
>the fabric. Either there's a way to do this, or the edges were
>somehow attached, woven into the big square of plain weave. Sewing
>the trim on wouldn't be strong enough. The point would be to be
>pretty *and* sturdy, both in one. Does anybody have experience with
>this? I am a tablet weaver but I haven't ventured into the world of
>other ways to weave.
