Hi Saragrace,

I am catching up on my e-mail here...is it Otfried Staudigel in Germany whose loom you are looking at? I have one and it is very nice, so far I haven't had the time to do more than play on it but it is sturdy and the tensioning device is well designed.

Inkle looms can work very well for tablet weaving, a lot depends on what kind of designs you decide to make. Check Lynn Meyer's web site for how to use an inkle loom for tablet weaving. http://www.halimal.com

Michael and MJ Houghton of White Wolf and the Phoenix in Bowie, MD, USA makes looms. http://www.radix.net/~herveus/

Hi all, I am new to tablet weaving and had subscribed about a week ago to the list...I didn't think there was much activity and all of a sudden my mailbox got inundated! Maybe my subscription just kicked in...

I was very interested to find this website which had all sorts of looms I
had never seen before http://www.stefanpilz.de/webertreffen2003/
Does anyone know if there are vendors stateside who offer such a selection?

I have found one German vendor who offers what looks like a very nice
loom...but want to consider all my options.

Also are there tablet weaving looms with pegs in the appropriate place (or
provided with attachments) such that they can be also used for inkle
weaving?

Thanks

Saragrace
