Hi Ruth and Saragrace,

You can put any length warp on this loom or any loom. This weekend I will take a photo of my Staudigel loom with a very short warp on it. When I got the loom I didn't have time to make a warp (still don't) but I did have a short warp on another loom so I put it on.

Stay tuned...

Janis

Thank you, I will check these resources out and probably go ahead and order
my loom from Mr. Staudigel...

The Staudigel loom is indeed wonderful--a fellow participant in a workshop I attended had one. However, I'd like to point out that the shortest warp you can put on this loom is still a very long warp. I don't remember the length, but this issue kept me from leaping right in & ordering one from Mr. Staudigel. I'm sure someone on this list can post what the actual measurement for the shortest warp is.
