I'm a new member of the tabletweaving list. I "discovered" tablet weaving on the web about 3 months ago, mentioned it at a spinning guild meeting, and one of the guild members taught me the basics. Since then I've woven 4 bands, bought Candace Crockett's book on Card Weaving, and am working on her rams horn draft 12 pattern, p. 79. My initial 6 inches only vaguely resemble hers and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I've triple checked threading, colors, AD placement, yet the "horns" are interrupted by the light color yarn. I'm using 3/2 pearl mercerized cotton.
If any of you have successfully made a band using this pattern and have any suggestions, I'd appreciate them. I could put a digital photo of it on my web site and send the URL if that would help.
Thanks, Sharon
