Sponsored by TWIST - Tablet Weavers International Studies & Techniques

I've just posted on my blog about an adaptation of a
copper tapestry loom for tablet weaving:
http://oakenking.livejournal.com/161741.html

and a neat idea I came up with for a class teaching
tool:
http://oakenking.livejournal.com/161298.html

The copper loom is adapted based on Archie Brennan's
design with input from Sara Lamb and some adaptations
of my own; it makes an ideal sample and workshop loom.

The teaching tool is a huge sampler (identical, except
for size, to the ones that my students make) made from
macrame cord, so that you can see in macro-scale the
structure of the weaving.
