Peter,

Thanks so much for the reminder to go back to basics, it helped.  Once I
actually paused to think more carefully about the pattern I was working with
it became much clearer, and I was finally able to weave the pattern
correctly (AND to know why it worked!)   In fact, reflecting on your
suggestion and what I learned as a result, I've got something new to try to
deal with the excess twist in this pattern.  Won't know for a few days if
it'll work out, but I'm going to try to switch directions every now and
again and not interrupt the pattern enough to truly be noticed by the casual
observer.

I have your book, and it's really great!   Thanks!
