Thank you, Ford! Now I know what to expect and will be prepared to weave
the pattern correctly and deal with the twist buildup. I'm going to make
a hat band, so the warp isn't very long. Thanks again for your prompt

started weaving. One thing, a lot of twist builds up. If you reverse the
turning sequence, that'll get rid of the twist, but it also gives a very
different pattern. I was suprprised to find that reversing the turning actually
DID give a coherent pattern, though not one that matches the Birka one.
