Main suggestion about using silk, is to make sure
you're using a fairly twisted yarn; soft-twist yarns
are more likely to shred. Yarns intended for weaving
are more likely to hold up than yarns intended for
knitting. Some of the knitting silks are wonderful to
touch - but would shred too easily in the tablets.
Also, using a warp spreader seems to help, if you
decide to go for a more soft-twisted yarn.
