Hi everyone.

It is the border cards which tip and if I am not careful I miss the shed on these cards or they rotate by themselves. I have the border cards independently weighted with film canisters and pennies and try to keep the tension on the border cards the same as with the other cards. What am I doing wrong, or what can I do to alleviate this problem?

You might consider having just 2 warps on your selvedges, and thread them through a long, narrow tablet with a hole at each end. Then they would be unable to do a full 180 without you noticing. I have found that 2-hole selvedges are very consistent and durable, no matter what the technique or the number of warps per tablet.
