Greetings to you all!
My name is Johanna Lauck, and I'm from the Indianapolis, Indiana area. Not
only am I brand new to this list, but I'm brand new to tablet weaving in
general. I saw a demonstration earlier this year and it absolutely fascinated
me. That weekend I promptly went home, cut up an old set of playing cards and
fashioned my own tablets to use for weaving. I've started my first band using
a simple pattern I found online and some crochet thread. So far I've been very
pleased with the results!
Do any of you have advice or tips to offer to those of us who are new to the
craft? What are your favorite materials with which to work? If you had to
choose one book to suggest to an interested beginner, which title would it be?
