Greetings and welcome Johanna!

The favorite beginner's book is Candace Crockett, but I'm not a big fan. I
have basic instructions and software for designing bands on my website
(http://www.malarkycrafts.com), and Sarah Goslee has wonderful intructions and
such on her website at http://www.stringpage.com. After you get through the
basics, it is probably a good idea to get Peter Collingwood's "Techniques of
Tablet Weaving." I'll warn you though, it is very technical. I just received
your membership to the TWIST journal, so that will be good resource material as
well.

Again, welcome aboard!
