Are you sure? For me "mvn site" generates a very ugly - (I mean mavenish
:) ) site, not the fancy one, which currently can be found at
http://tacos.sourceforge.net. For example, there isn't any component
reference.

I've figured out, I need forrest to generate the htmls (which puts the file
into the build/site directory). But I still doesn't know how to upload and
publish it to the website.
