oh, yea, i forgot! you're talking about the 4.0.x site...
You have to manually upload the files - try ssh or scp
and use tar and gzip so that you upload a single file and extract it there.
Also try extracting in a temp folder at first, to see if all is ok.

I've figured out, I need forrest to generate the htmls (which puts the
file into the build/site directory). But I still doesn't know how to upload
