I would like to fire AJAX events when a user clicks on areas in an image map (i.e. as if an AjaxDirectLink has been clicked). Can anyone point me in the right direction for accomplishing this? I'm hoping I can just create a custom renderer that spits out an <area> tag instead of <a> - anyone know if that will work?
The image map areas are dynamically generated, but I don't think converting a static solution will be a problem...
