Many roads are /named/ "expressway" even if they are physically not
expressways.  To give a Boston-area example, I'm talking about roads
like Route 2 from about Route 27 near Acton to Route 2A east of
Concord.  (I drove on this back in May.  It's definitely what I would
call an expressway.)
