IMHO motorways should indeed imply access restrictions for non- and light-motorized vehicles. This is one of the main principles of motorways: exclude slow traffic. > A few states, usually those with turnpikes, allow bicycles on expressways > (trunks: motorways with at-grade intersections) and freeways (toll-free > motorways), but not on turnpikes (toll motorways). If you have those exceptions in some rural area, tag it as such, but please accept that generally motorways are restricted to motorized traffic. cheers, Martin _______________________________________________ Tagging mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/tagging
