Thing is, you can expect the average mapper to map an aerialway=drag_lift, but you can't expect every average mapper to distinguish between xyz-bar, platter, rope tow by reading the wiki toroughly. Drag_lift is the default and general tag for lazy mappers for lifts where the user is dragged.

See it like a note=fixme if you want.

drag_lift + aerialway:occupancy=2 can be a t-bar, but it can also be some other type of drag_lift which may exist somewhere and we don't know about it.

        And if drag_lift != platter != tbar,

    no, the oppposite:
    a platter is a kind of drag_lift and a t-bar is also a kind of
    drag lift.
