Hello Friedrich, in Czech Republic they have a similar problem: They have so called conscription numbers, which are unique in the whole city and additionally the normal housenumbers. They use the key addr:streetnumber (675,742× used) for the number unique within the street, addr:conscriptionnumber (2,632,784× used) for the number unique within the city and addr:housenumber for both separated by a slash (tagging for the renderer?!).
It's most likely not a solution to the problem you want to solve, where one house has two housenumbers unique within a street as far as I understand. But probably it's good to know about this similar problem. floscher Am 15.01.2015 um 02:46 schrieb Friedrich Volkmann: > http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Proposed_Features/addrN > > I once made a proposal for multiple addresses, which I think was fairly > eleborate, but too complex. This tagging scheme is already in use (e.g. > 7000 > occurances of addr2:housenumber), but unfortunately limited to one country > or so, due to a lack of international communication and documentation.
