Lorry drivers are usually required to remove ice and snow from their vehicles as they pose a safety hazard when falling on the ground. In order to allow drivers to reach the roof, structures (e.g. made of scaffolding) have been erected along some major highways. They are called "Räumstation" in Germany.
I propose the tag amenity=snow_removal_station. This feature is a useful and important facility, fitting well to the Key:amenity key. It is comparable to amenity=bicycle_repair_station or sanitary_dump_station. I could not find a picture with free license, so head over to google image search (https://www.google.de/search?tbm=isch&q=r%C3%A4umstation+schnee). I'm interested in comments under which name such features are known in UK.
