At Schuman roundabout in Brussels (and at least one other place in
Brussels, but I can't remember where), there's an emergency exit (probably
from the metro station) in the form of a rectangular green metal treadplate
hatch at ground level, about 2m x 4m, which is hinged at one end so the
other end can pop up. I presume it covers the top of a stairway from
something underground. It has an indication that it is an emergency exit
stencilled onto it, along with a warning not to park on it. I've mapped it
as https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/1474158758 but I'm not sure how it
should be tagged.
I didn't think to take a photo of it while I was there (and won't be back
there for some time), and can't find a photo including it online, although
it's visible in Google StreetView if you want to see what I mean.
