I'd like to call a vote on adding version 0.3 of the IO tag libary to the
jakarta-taglibs CVS repository.
The 0.3 distribution of the IO tag library is here (its too big to attach to
an email on this list).

It supports making IO requests on any URL including file, FTP, HTTP, HTTPS,
XML-RPC and SOAP.
The distribution contains all the source code, example web apps and much
more documentation now.
The documentation includes a more detailed overview of the IO tag library as
well as a description of the current "tag
pipelining" proposal together with the current implementation. The
documentation is browseable here

I've been using the IO tag library for quite a while now and have fixed a
few bugs and issues that have cropped up.
Its now pretty stable and has been tested on Tomcat 3.3, 4.0.b3 and WebLogic
6.0 SP1.
