Folks: The Google Summer of Code organization is now accepting applications from students. Here is Google's announcement about this:

Subscribe to this mailing list (just so you can keep up with what's going on in the Tahoe-LAFS project). 2. Look at our Ideas page: http://tahoe-lafs.org/trac/tahoe-lafs/wiki/GSoCIdeas and choose one or more Ideas that you would like to work on, and/or come up with your own ideas. 3. Write to all of the Mentors listed on the GSoCIdeas page -- carbon-copy all of us -- as well as carbon-copying [email protected], the hot spare backup organizer, introducing yourself, saying that you are interested. 4. The Mentors will help you write up your Application to submit to Google. Several students have already started this process.
