Sorry for the CC. Thunderbird is being weird and it won't let me to
reply to list, so i was hitting "reply to all" which apparently I
shouldn't have done it. sorry.
In gnome 3.12 and 3.14, the hotkey is alt+super+S. it will launch Orca
for you .
Should i comment in the mentioned bug about this? the solution that is.

Yep, I guess this would be the right way to do it.
for example: alt+shift+S
What keybinding is the default one in GNOME, exactly? You mentionned
alt+shift+S once, and alt+super+S once, so I'm now unsure.
Then, the next problem could be Orca not being able to read the interface.
Maybe it
is able to, maybe not.
If it's GDM, it's highly possible that Orca can read it
It's all GTK so I hope it should be fine.
